CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2006 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS!

The Robert F. Wharton Foundation supports high school seniors in their quest for further education. The Foundation awards college scholarships to applicants based on character, eminence, and community involvement. The Foundation will award scholarships annually to one male and one female candidate as a tribute to the lives of Robert Fleming Wharton and William Rivers Waddey. Individual college scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000.00 . Applications for the Robert F. Wharton & William Rivers Waddey college scholarship program can be found on the "Forms & Documents" page of this website. Thank you and best of luck!

The Robert F. Wharton Foundation also administers grants for youth athletic affiliations under the signature RFW Team in Need. The Foundation will review requests and award scholarships on a case by case basis. There are currently no fundamental or maximum scholarship requirements stipulated by the Foundation. The RFW Team in Need annuity will be allocated to youth athletic organizations based primarily on need. Robert graduated from Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs in 2003. He planned to attend The University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!
